We make a virtual human that imitates human facial expressions and gestures
Metabuild, a data connection and
integration platform company, is accelerating its efforts to target overseas
markets by expanding its business to artificial intelligence (AI) services
including digital humans.
Developed by Metabuild, R2MIX enables users
to create virtual human beings in three dimensions (3D) by synchronizing human
expressions, mouth shapes, and gestures in real time. Within the platform,
users can create their own digital human beings with simple settings and
utilize them in the metaverse space. Real-time videos created through virtual
humans can be immediately sent to social media such as YouTube and Instagram.
One of the advantages is that video content can be used in various fields such
as shopping, education, entertainment, and video conferencing.
"R2MIX was developed in the form of
cloud service software (SaaS) incorporating AI technology," said Cho
Poong-youn, CEO of Metabuild. "We are promoting service cooperation with
global content and intellectual property (IP) companies in Southeast Asia, the
United States, and Europe."
Established in 1998, Metabuild is Korea's
No. 1 operator that leads the integrated software platform market. Its core
competitiveness is integration middleware technology that connects the real
world with the digital world. Metabuild, the company's name, is a combination
of "Meta" and "Build." The founding philosophy is to grow
into a company that transcends globality. "By commercializing
data-linkage, integration and analysis products such as MESIM ESB, APIG, and
MESIM DataHUB, we are serving more than 4,000 domestic and foreign clients in
various fields such as finance, public, manufacturing, and distribution,"
CEO Cho said.
Metabuild is rapidly expanding its business into next-generation new technology areas such as AI platforms and autonomous driving based on its competitiveness in connection and integration middleware technology.
