​"Gather up creators"… Total prize money of 13 million won 'Short-form Content Contest'

Electronic Times will hold a short-form video contest in partnership with the Federation of Artistic and Cultural Organization of Korea that anyone can participate in.

The 2023 Electronic Times Short-form Content Contest, which will be held for the first time this year, was designed to communicate with digital readers who are familiar with short-form videos and to support fostering prospective creators.

It is hosted by the Electronic Times and the Federation of Artistic and Cultural Organization of Korea, and is organized by Metabuild. The sponsors included the Korea Federation of SW and ICT organization and Chilloen.

Applications will be received online from the 18th (Mon) to the 31st (Tue) of next month. Anyone can participate regardless of age and place of residence, and can apply individually or on a team basis. When applying for a team unit, personal information can be entered under the name of the representative.

You can capture everything in your daily life, including IT devices, literature, art, scenery, and animals, in a video clip that takes less than 58 seconds. There is no limit to genre or photography. Background music can also be downloaded free of charge from "Keeneat" serviced by Chilloen. Additional points are given when using Chilloen's music.

The way to participate is simple. Upload the video to your personal YouTube or Instagram account and attach a link to the video when you fill out the Google Form to complete the application.

However, after the video title, the [E-Times Short-form Content Contest] must be unified and attached to the required hashtag (#E-Times Short-form Contest) to apply.

The winners will be announced on Nov. 22. The 1st prize winner will receive 5 million won, while the 2nd prize winner and the Background Music Award winner will receive 2 million won. The prize money of 1 million won will be given to the 3rd prize winner (two winners), and 100,000 won will be given as the participation prize (20 winners).

In addition, all winners will be given additional points to apply for the Metabuild and Chilloen. Thus, winners can receive a certificate of prize upon request.​
