When asked about the differences in Metabuild AI, Cho Poong-youn, CEO of Metabuild, and Park Jae-hyung, head of Metabuild's SW research division, said they were confident that they would provide solutions specialized for each area.

According to Park, most AI platforms released in the market combine experiences and know-how that companies have gained from existing projects. In this regard, Metabuild is competitive.

MAI AUTO, user-friendly GUI-based MLOps·LLMOPs platform

Director Park said that the company's AI platform supports learning and model development of various data such as structured or unstructured data, text images, and videos. This is an analysis that other companies' AI platforms have become engineers-oriented products as they focus on machine learning and deep learning models development and operation. In the case of engineer-centered products, it is difficult for users with only knowledge of other fields to utilize them. In addition, since it is difficult to reuse the built platform, reconstruction cases through professional engineers frequently occur again for continuous analysis and model improvement.

Metabuild's AI development platform, "MAI AUTO," has differences in technology and experience from these platforms. MAI AUTO is a user-friendly platform for user-learning operation development (MLOps) and LLMOPs for integrated operation of AI service development cycles, including data collection, model generation, learning, distribution, operation and monitoring for AI model development and service construction. It specializes in prediction, analysis, FDS, and natural language processing. Through this, "MAI AUTO" was applied to the National Health Insurance Service's long-term care supply and demand forecast, the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service's medical unfair claim AI service, the digital collection and development project, and the road traffic safety support service construction project of the Korea Expressway Corporation.

Metabuild was not an AI development company from the beginning. "Metabuild focused on developing a middleware-linked system, but researched and developed big data out of necessity, and worked on developing an AI platform five years ago. We released MAI AUTO, an AI development platform, three years ago," CEO Cho said.

Over the past five years, the results have gradually come out. In addition to the AI platform MAIAUTO, "MAI VOCAL," which sings based on the voices of more than 100 professional singers, and "R2MiX," a three-dimensional live-action digital human service, have been created. It has also secured its own language model, "LLaMON."

Self-developed LLM 'LLaMON'…Pre-learning Korean language with more than 2 billion words

In particular, in order to improve the Korean language recognition rate compared to the global LLM model, which was mainly studied in English, LLaMON used more than 2 billion words of Korean corpus data for pre-learning. LLaMON performs text binary sensitivity analysis, sentence-to-sentence measurement, and similar sentence classification to show optimized performance.

Park said he will focus on reflecting human emotions on the future direction of AI development. Until now, artificial intelligence technology has focused on summarizing, delivering, and generating information by searching for knowledge on behalf of people, but he predicted that such AI technology will be interactive with human emotions in the future.

In line with this, Metabuild is seeking to use AI and content for counseling for the elders and the youth.

It is based on the judgment that it will help change emotions by providing content suitable for the atmosphere to teenagers or the elderly who need comfort. This is also why Metabuild developed R2MiX and MAI VOCAL in addition to AI development.
