Metabuild, Signs MOU with Kyndryl Korea for Cloud Business
Metabuild has signed a strategic business
agreement (MOU) with Kyndryl Korea, the world's largest IT infrastructure
service company, to strengthen cooperation in cloud business.
The agreement is part of a strategic
partnership to expand the cloud business based on the specialized technologies
and experiences of the two companies. With this MOU, the two companies will
carry out various cooperative activities such as developing cloud-based business
models and participating in projects by the public and private sectors,
building customer relationships through sales and marketing activities, and
entering overseas markets.
The partnership between the two companies
is expected to serve as a stepping stone not only to expand the domestic cloud
market but also to strengthen competitiveness in the global market.
Metabuild CEO Cho Poong-youn expressed his
expectation that "cooperation with global IT service companies will
contribute to the expansion of the company's business portfolio, including
entry into the private cloud service market as well as public."
Kyndryl Korea CEO Ryu Joo-bok also stressed
the positive aspects of the agreement, saying, "Through a partnership with
Metabuild, the No. 1 company in Korea in linkage software (SW), it will serve
as an opportunity to expand the company's business areas, including
participation in cloud native conversion projects in the public sector."
